The Biggest Wave In The World
Naza: the locals nickname for Nazaré ; 10: for a decade of big wave surfing history. The exhibition aims to involve the public in a unique experience, to feel the biggest waves in the world through video and photographic images collected over the last 10 years. Jorge Leal, the creative behind the lens has followed from day one the North Canyon project that put Nazaré and Portugal on the big wave surfing map. His archive contains iconic images, artistic and technically difficult to obtain, that represent a high knowledge of the space.
- Photographic exhibition, showing some of the historical moments in Nazaré, from giant waves that offered epic images of storms, or surfers who defied some of those days and caught the biggest wave of their lives, and even some Guinness World Records.
- The exhibition features video projections, movies, photography where we feel the movement of these waves to the point that we seem to be inside the water.
